Hand-Knotted Persian Qashqai Accent Mat
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Qashqai accent mat. This wool rug features a complex hexagonal medallion grounded in azure and seeded with a Qashqai motif at the center. The medallion rests on a merlot colored field bracketed by horse-head capitals, spade motifs and palmette pendants amid a universal palette of ecru, denim, ivory, orange and onyx. Framing the rug are floral boat boarders in the field colors. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with short warp fringe. It is not labeled.
