A pair of antique engravings on paper including a work after Peter Paul Rubens. Featured is a work depiction the annunciation with arch angel Gabriel approaching Mary as a dove flies down from the sky above. This piece is presented behind glass in a wood frame. Also included is a print after Peter Paul Rubens (1577-1640) titled Christus aan het kruis (Christ on the cross). This work depicts Christ on the cross with Mary, Mother of Jesus, Mary Magdalene, and Mary of Clopas at his feet. To the verso, is printed text that appears to be in Latin. This work is not framed.

Condition

- discoloration and pin holes are present to the margin of the crucifixion scene; both prints show discoloration and foxing.
