Towle "Canterbury, Wallace and Madison" and Other Sterling Serving Utensils

A four-piece assortment of sterling silver serving utensils. Featured are two items by Towle Silversmiths including a lettuce serving spoon in the Cordova pattern (introduced 1902) and a berry/casserole spoon with a gold washed bowl in the Canterbury pattern (introduced 1893). Also included is a pierced bon bon spoon in the Madison pattern by Wallace Silversmiths (introduced 1913) and a sterling-handled ladle with a silver plate bowl featuring a coffin style handle decorated with floral trim. All of the items are marked ‘Sterling’ with a maker’s mark to the handles and three bear a personalized engraving. The total approximate weight, excluding the ladle with a silver plate bowl, is 3.375 ozt.
