A hand-colored intaglio print on paper titled A View of the Royal Palace of Hampton Court after listed artist Jacques Rigaud (French; 1680 – 1754) and engraver Nathaniel Parr (British; 18th century). The work was originally published circa 1794 by Laurie & Whittle of London; it depicts an 18th-century view of London’s Hampton Court Palace under blue skies, surrounded by a park like setting of green lawns, trees and shrubs, as pedestrians in colorful attire walk to the foreground. The print is titled and attributed in plate along the lower margin. It presented under glass and French-style matting in a wooden frame with gold tone trim, fitted with hanging wire to the verso. The frame backing includes a certificate of authenticity label from Buchanan and Kiguel of Virginia.

- to fair; discoloration and foxing to print and matting; edge wear, finish loss and scuffing to frame; tears and stains to frame’s backing paper.
