An Emperor Alexandria grandfather clock. An elegant clock with a Federal style and a Windsor cherry finished case with select hardwoods and veneers. The case has an arched pediment with a wood urn finial and turned side columns with corner blocks and a glass front door that displays a brass dial with a with a silvertone Tempus Fugit logo above. The dial has a hammered brass center with a silver tone chapter ring that has black Roman numerals and serpentine hands. Other features of the clock include a glass front door on the waist that displays a polished brass pendulum and three-cylinder weights on chains, a Franz Hermle 8-day movement with Westminister chimes, a pedestal with inset panels and the clock stands on a plinth style base with bracket feet. The clock is marked ‘Emperor’ on the face.
