Hand-Knotted North West Persian Wool Carpet Runner
Item Details
A hand-knotted North West Persian carpet runner. This wool rug displays five traditional star medallions in shades of indigo, caramel, ivory, azure and coffee. Minor guls, geometric devices and floral elements further decorated the field along with stylized palmettes at each corner. Framing the rug are framed quatrefoil pendants over caramel. Selvedges are overcast in stripes, The rug finishing with ivory warp fringe at either end. It is not labeled.
