A pair of hand-colored fashion plate etchings. These prints depict women’s fashion from 1792. Each features a woman in a dress with a large skirt, powdered wig, and decorated hat, holding a folding fan in her hand. They are dated to the lower center and unsigned. These prints are presented behind layered mats and glass in gilt wood frames with wire to the versos for hanging.

Condition

- to Fair; holes along left sides of prints; creasing and warping to paper; discoloration to paper and mats; stray marks to mats; minor surface wear to frames.
