A lithograph on paper after Edwin Davis French (1851-1906) titled Bookplate of W. K. Bixby. This print depicts an octopus surrounded by waves and books. An in-plate inscription below the octopus reads ‘Ex Libris W.K. Bixby’. It is presented behind glass in a black wood frame. Hanging wire is present to the verso.
