A complete set in ten volumes of The Complete Works of George Eliot published by the Nottingham Society circa 1900. This ‘Edition De Luxe’ features photogravure illustrations after drawings by Gertrude Demain Hammond and Patrick L. Stoddard. The volumes are bound in one-quarter leather with gilt to the spines; the limitation page reads ‘Edition De Luxe, Limited to One Thousand Sets’.
