A limited edition color lithograph on paper titled Foundry created circa 1938 by listed artist Lewis Rubenstein (American; 1908 – 2003). The Expressionist-inspired piece depicts a foundry worker pouring molten metal from a round barrel into a mold, rendered in a palette of blended red and dark teal hues against a cream ground. The print is signed by hand to the lower right and numbered to the lower left as 2 out of an edition of 25. It is matted in cream and presented under glass in a wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso. - to fair; toning and discoloration to print and matting; edge wear, nicks and scratches to frame; wear and exposed nails to frame backing.
