Vintage Jacobean Oak Sideboard

Item Details

A vintage Jacobean revival style oak sideboard. The lateral piece features a back guard over a rectangular top with beveled edges. Two X-paneled cabinet doors flank two various fronted machine-cut dovetailed drawers. The case stands on thick turned legs with a Y-stretcher and scalloped, incised apron. No discernible maker’s mark.

Condition

- light marks, nicks, dents and scratches consistent with age and use; left door doesn’t close all the way.
