A hand-knotted wool area rug. The large carpet has been woven in shades of espresso, peach, salmon, ivory, shrimp, canary, and chartreuse. The pattern of large stylized tribal-inspired herati is worked in raised pile. The design is in relief on the plain brown background. The selvedges are triple overcast and the ends have been turned under. The rug is not labeled.
