A hand-knotted Afghani pictorial war rug. This rug displays helicopter, gun and tank imagery in hues of olive green, navy, burgundy, orange, cream, and blue upon a dark cream ground. The rug has lettering throughout which reads 2011 and Made in Afghnat. The rug is finished with gray-blue selvedge and natural warp fringe. The rug is unmarked on the reverse.
