Item Details

A selection of hand-knotted wool accent rugs. The small carpets have been woven in palettes which include madder, indigo, wine, ivory, camel, and olive. Each carpet features a central medallion and a field infilled with geometric motifs. The borders range from a simplified rectilinear flower and vine design to boxed motifs and a variation of split leaf and flowers guard bands. Each carpet has overcast selvedges , fringe at each end, and no visible markings.
