Hand-Knotted Persian Sarouk Wool Accent Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Sarouk accent rug. This wool rug offers large flower sprays in vases along with floral sprays scattered densely over the watermelon colored field. It begins with a floral medallion to the center rendered in hues of blue, magenta, onyx, cream and rose. Framing the rug are reciprocal sawtooth guard borders and a main border containing geometric flower heads and leafy vines. Selvedges are overcast, finishing with short ivory warp fringe at either end. It is not labeled.
