An early 20th century Waterbury Clock Company mantel clock. A beehive style clock that is circa 1910 and features a walnut finish on a solid wood case accented with beautiful light and dark grains.The clock has a brass framed glass front door that displays a white deal with black Arabic numbers and hands and three brass key arbors. Other features of the clock include a brass pendulum with an embossed floral design, an 8-day time and strike movement with gong strikes on the hour and bell strikes on the half hour, a winding key and the clock stands on a plinth style base with bracket feet. The clock is marked ‘The Waterbury Clock Company’ on the face.
