1900-1914 Barber Nickel Five Cents, Silver Quarters and Half Dollars

A collection of early 1900’s Barber silver quarters and half dollars, together with a series of Barber ‘V’ nickel five cent pieces. This series of coins was designed by US Bureau of the Mint Chief Engraver Charles E. Barber.

Silver quarters and half dollars:
Designer: Charles E. Barber
Obverse: Head of Liberty
Reverse: American Eagle with outstretched wings, olive branch and arrows’ on quarter; dime reads ‘One Dime’ in wreath.
Mint marks: See photos
Metal Content: 90% silver, 10% Copper.
Edge Detail: Reeded

Designer: Charles E. Barber
Obverse: Head of Liberty
Reverse: ‘V’ in Wreath
Metal Content: 75% Copper, 25% nickel
