A pair of Louis XVI style lounge chairs. The chairs feature slightly curved backs, descending rounded arms, removable seat cushions, straight aprons, two saber legs to the back and two tapering legs with carved geometrical accents and brass capped feet to the front. The upholstery presents an all-over foliate pattern with large golden, green, and cream leaves to the dark grey ground. The labels to the underside read ‘The Upholsterer’s Workshop/Sleepy Hollow, IL.’
