Hans Leisch Mid-Century Etchings on Silk "Beethovenhaus" and "Dürnstein"

A set of two mid-century etchings on silk by Austrian artist Hans Leisch titled Beethovenhaus and Dürnstein. Included is a print depicting Beethoven’s residence in Austria, as well as a landscape scene featuring Dürnstein Abbey. Each work is rendered in a palette of muted earth tone hues, titled to the lower center and signed “H. Leisch” by hand to the lower right. The prints are presented under glass and cream woven liners in wooden frames, each fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

- to fair; marks to one print along left side; discoloration to silk; wear to liners; chips and wear to frames; gaps and cracks to lower corners of frames; tears to frames’ backing paper.

- measures one frame; each visible image measures 5.75" W x 8.5" H.
