A mixed media illustration on paper titled Yellow Portrait created in 1965 by listed artist Sophie Fordon (American; born 20th century). The piece depicts the portrait of a figure with short hair, rendered in black ink embellished with expressive strokes of yellow watercolor paint throughout. The work is signed ‘S. Fordon 1965’ in graphite to the lower right; a tag with the artist’s name and work title is adhered to the frame verso, written by an unknown hand. The drawing is matted in off-white and presented under glass in a wooden frame fitted with hanging wire.

- slight discoloration to paper; smudges to signature area; minor scuffs and edge wear to frame; tape to frame at verso.
