Hand-Tufted Momeni "Moghul" Carpet Runner
Item Details
A hand-tufted Moghul carpet runner by Momeni. This Indian-made wool rug is rendered in a palette of camel, mustard, coral, celadon and charcoal. It features an allover pattern incorporating stylized rosettes, elaborate palmettes, scrolling lancet leaves and flowers over camel and mustard. The field is framed by three borders, including a Persian-style samovar main border featuring palmettes, vines, leaves and flowers over charcoal. Edges are serged on all sides under a full fabric backing. A label on the reverse reads, in part, ‘Indian Hand Tufted’ and ‘Moghul Collection 100% Wool Fiber.’
