A Japanese woodblock after Chōkōsai Eishō (fl. 1790s) Hinazuru of the Chōjiya, from a series titled Kakuchū Bijin Kurabe. This piece depicts a woman, her hair ornately arranged with picks and combs, holding a porcelain doll in her hands. The work features judicious areas of color and is marked with a line of calligraphic text to its left edge. It is matted under glass in a metal frame with a wire to its verso for hanging.

- fair; discoloration to page; mat burn along edges; nicks and minor wear to frame.
