A Folk Art painted French style Morbier grandfather clock case. A 19th-century style country French wood grandfather clock case with a cherry finish that features an inlaid wood and hand-painted decorative floral design with scrollwork accents. The case has a molded bonnet with a rectangular shaped clock case that has floral accents. An elongated curving pot belly front door on the waist with floral accents and carved scrollwork with a wood-paneled interior. Other features of the clock case include a podium style pedestal with an inlaid and painted floral design and the frame stands on a plinth style base with a scalloped apron and wood bracket feet. There are no apparent makers marks. This item coordinates with item # 18NAS048-012 and 18NAS048-022..
