A circa 1940s oil painting on canvas by artist Salvadore Koslowski (American, 20th century). The Post Impressionist-inspired piece depicts a European landscape, with a small village set among green trees and colorful vegetation against a backdrop of rolling mountains and blue skies. The work is signed ‘S. Koslowski’ to the lower right and inscribed ‘From Sal to Doris, 1946’ to the canvas verso. It is presented without glass in a wooden frame with gold tone finish, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

- to fair; stretcher marks, wear and media loss to edges of composition; slight toning and discoloration present; edge wear, chips and finish loss to frame; no backing paper present.
