An artist’s proof mixed media print on rag paper titled Man Defines Space II created in 1997 by artist Catherine Knight (born 20th century). The piece uses embossed paper and cut pieces of maps to depict a group of five abstract figures standing in front of a blue-and-white geometric composition, reminiscent of a cathedral’s stained-glass window. The work is signed and dated in graphite to the lower right, titled to the lower left and inscribed ‘A/P’ to the lower center. It is centered over a pale mauve backing, matted in white and presented under protective glazing in a wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

- edge wear, creases and discoloration to paper; nicks, scratches and edge wear to frame; sticker to glazing at lower left.
