A WWI era lithographic poster advertising US Government Bonds. This piece features Uncle Sam with soldiers and the Statue of Liberty in the distance. Lettering toward the lower edge reads ‘Shall We Be More Tender with Our Dollars Than with the Lives of Our Sons’. The print is dated 1917 and marked ‘Illinois Litho. Co. Chicago’ in small print to the lower right. It is presented under glass in a wood frame, wired to hang.

- discoloration to paper; chips and wear to frame; loss to finish; damage to backing paper.
