Mottahedeh Stoneware Covered Vegetable Bowl and Platter
Item Details
A Mottahedeh stoneware covered vegetable bowl and platter. The pieces feature orange urns surrounded by leaves to the white ground, gilt leaves on orange borders, and thick gilding to the ornate molded handles. The contemporary pieces are reproductions after the 18th century English porcelain factory Lowestoft. They are marked ‘Mottahedeh’ to the underside.
