Antique Chinese "Rose Medallion" and Koi Serveware
Item Details
A two piece selection of antique Chinese serveware. This group features a pedestal serving dish which has been hand painted, depicting orange koi fish to the well with blue and green detail. Also included is a hand painted Rose Medallion plate, showing a floral medallion to the center surrounded by alternating panels of figures and flowers and embellished with colorful insects throughout. These items date to the last third of the nineteenth century and are not marked, as is typical for items of this age and origin.
