A canal runs through the buildings in lieu of a street, with an arched footbridge crossing the water and a gondola tied near a doorway. The piece is painted with impasto and a bright, dream-like light. It is signed illegibly to the lower right with a partially obscured inscription to the verso. The piece is presented in a wood frame with a gold tone sight edge and wire to the verso for hanging. Located in the basement.
