Chinoiserie Ceramic Vase and Japanese Lidded Box
Item Details
A selection of ceramic decor pieces. The selection includes a Chinoiserie vase and a Japanese lidded box. Made in Italy, the vase features images of Chinese guard lions amid flowering plum trees, lotus and other flowers, foliage and abstract patterning; it is marked ‘Ardalt Chineserie/Made in Italy 4630’ on the reverse. The box is round, featuring Imari-style images of florals, a peacock and abstract patterns over cobalt; it is marked, in part, ‘Takashi Made in Japan’ on the underside.
