A vintage hand-knotted Romanian rug. The rug displays a lozenge shape medallion in shades of indigo and coral with large floral adornments. The medallion rests on a herato patterned field with large indigo spandrels. The field is surrounded by a single leaf and calyx minor border and exaggerated lobed flower principal border. The rug terminates in cropped cotton warp fringe ends.
