A vintage hand-knotted Persian Kashan area rug. The rug has a central medallion in navy blue, cream, and red on a sapphire field with spandrels that mirror the central medallion. There are floral decorations in all areas. It is framed by a compound border with an azure primary band and carnation minor borders on each side. It is finished with a short natural warp fringe.
