An artist proof serigraph on paper titled Our Consolations by well-listed American artist Ricardo Morin (Venezuela, b. 1954), dated to 1975. The piece is signed and dated to the lower right corner, titled to the lower center, and marked as an artist proof to the lower left. It is presented unmounted and unframed in a plastic sleeve.

Morin immigrated to the United States from Venezuela in 1972. Based in New York and New Jersey, Morin received his B.F.A. from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his M.F.A. at Yale University. His work has been exhibited at multiple institutions including the Bronx Museum of the Arts; the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, New York; the Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts in Brooklyn, New York; and many others. He is most well-known for his non-objective abstract paintings that exhibit a combination of linear delineation and fluidity.

Condition

- discoloration to paper, more severe towards edges of sheet; foxing to edges of paper; small stains in lower margin; wear to edges with small tears and folds.
