A hand-knotted Caucasian Karabagh wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of crimson, indigo, walnut, pine, ivory, rose, and black. The crimson hued field features six alternating medallions including a lobed shape and diamond shape, along with geometrically shaped flowering vines, and floral motifs populating the remainder. Framing the field is an indigo grounded two-petal calyx meander border, along with a carnation meander border grounded in a walnut color. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
