Item Details
A hand-knotted Northwest Persian wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of wine, ivory, indigo, ochre, coral, teal, powder blue, and mocha. The wine hued field begins with a pendant medallion and coordinating spandrels in a floral theme. The field also features geometrically shaped flowering branches throughout, along with small animal motifs. Framing the field is an S-patterned, a floral meander, and a Hamadan border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
