A Chinese porcelain planter and pedestal. The exterior of this hand-painted piece features guilded foliage in and around a series of mihrab-like connected arches, with trim in black and gold-tone glazing. The interior features an image of a fancy, orange goldfish amid aquatic plants. Included is a black lacquered pedestal. The piece is marked in Chinese characters and ‘Made in China’ on the underside.
