Hand-Knotted Vintage Persian Mahal Carpet Runner
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Mahal carpet runner. This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of blood red, cerulean, fawn, beige, moss green, peach, gray and black. The field is patterned with a central rhomboid medallion and sprays of flowers. It has carnation meander guard borders and a _herati_pattern main border. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Labeled to verso.
