Hand-Knotted Bakshaish Heriz Carpet Runner
Item Details
A hand-knotted Bakshaish Heriz carpet runner. The rug features three center medallions in ivory, black, green, camel, red, pink and slate blue, on a mocha colored field. The field is populated by geometric floral vines joined by complimentary spandrels. Framing the rug is a samovar border grounded in ivory. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing with a kilim skirt and ivory warp fringe at either end. It is not labeled.
