A hand-knotted Persian Kurdish Bijar area rug. This rug is hand-knotted in a palette of burnt orange, pink, mint, brown, black, and cream. It has a large hexagonal shaped central medallion with arrow shaped pendants and sawtooth edges. The field is patterned with rosette medallions, leaves, and geometric motifs. It is framed with an animal head meander border. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end.
