Item Details
An original signed oil on canvas streetscape by listed artist Caroline Burnett. The colorful mid century work depicts a Parisian street scene, rendered in an impasto Impressionistic style with bold brushwork in a free manner. The scene shows tall buildings with banners and awnings, and strolling walkers dressed in finery walking in the street, to the center foreground of the work, with a tall green stone wall topped with plants to the left foreground. The painting is signed to the lower right and displayed in a rustic gray-painted beveled wooden frame with natural linen mat and gray-painted inner filet. The frame is wired to the back for wall attachment.
