A semi-antique hand-knotted Turkmen Tribal wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in an abrashed palette of umber, walnut, teal, indigo, and ivory. The umber to walnut hued field features a lattice of Sariq minor guls and chemche guls throughout. Framing the field is a main medallion patterned border, along with diagonal striped and X- designed minor borders, as well as branched floral forms to the elem panels at each end. Finishing this rug are cobalt wrapped selvedges, and a goat hair warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
