Victorian Wood Rocking Chair and Upholstered Children's Rocker
Item Details
An antique Victorian rocking chair, and a children’s vintage upholstered rocking chair. The hardwood rocker has a serpentine crest rail and a vase shaped back splat with delicate inlay, turned side supports, scrolled arms with turned supports, a contoured solid wood seat and turned legs with H stretchers, resting atop rockers. The underside of the seat is marked with numbers ‘6640’ and ‘6641’. The children’s chair is upholstered in gray vinyl, with silver tone metal stud trim, and it rests on tapered square legs with wood rockers. No maker’s mark.

- wood rocker has surface marks, dings, scratches, scuffs and wear, and there is tape and tape residue to the undersides of the rockers; vinyl upholstered children’s rocker has significant wear, marks, scuffs, tears, discoloration and warping
