Hand-Knotted Persian Wool Accent Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of cranberry, black, ivory, clementine, fern, wine, powder blue, and carnation. The cranberry colored lozenge begins with a diamond medallion ending in large palmettes, and it features boteh, animal, floral, and more palmette motifs. Those same filler motifs can be found to the black grounded spandrels. Framing the field is a laleh abbasi border, along with a boteh patterned border as well. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a fine wool warp fringe to the ends. This rug is labeled to the underside ‘Iran’.
