Vintage Odd Fellows Hanging Silk Banners with Embroidered Designs

A set of three vintage silk banners for the Independent Order of Odd Fellows fraternal organization. Featured are two banners in cream and blue silk featuring embroidered symbols, including the heart-in-hand, the Ark of the Covenant, a globe, an ax, a snake coiled around a cross, the three link emblem, a scythe, an all-seeing-eye and a skull and crossbones symbol. Also featured is a painted red silk banner depicting imagery that includes a Bible, the scales of justice, an hourglass and a coffin. The banners feature decorative fringed borders; each is mounted to a rod for wall display.

- heavy wear to silk fabric, borders and hanging loops; two banners are fair to poor, with horizontal tears, wear and thread pulling throughout; marks and discoloration to all banners; wear to hanging rods.
