1930 Rockwell Kent Signed Limited Edition "The Canterbury Tales"

A limited edition of The Canterbury Tales of Geoffrey Chaucer, signed by illustrator Rockwell Kent. Published by Covici-Friede in 1930, this two-volume edition includes Chaucer’s text together with a modern English verse translation by William Van Wyck and illustrations by Rockwell Kent. The books are bound in linen-covered boards with gilt text. The limitation page is signed by Kent and is hand-numbered 667 in an edition of 924 copies on Worthy Number Two Rag paper.
