1886 Limited Edition Boccaccio's "Decameron" in Three Volumes

A limited edition in three volumes of The Decameron of Giovanni Boccacci (Il Boccaccio) Now First Completely Done Into English Prose and Verse by John Payne. This first edition of Payne’s translation was printed for the Villon Society by private subscription in 1886. Each volume is bound in full vellum with gilt decoration and gilt tops.
