Hand-Knotted Persian Kerman Wool Area Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Kerman area rug. This wool rug offers a large medallion to the center field containing palmettes, floral arrangements and large shah abbasi. It is worked in a palette of taupe, powder blue, mocha, ivory, ecru and onyx over an orange colored ground. The matching corner spandrels compliment the design along with the main floral border. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing with long warp fringe at either end. It is not labeled.
