A signed limited edition etching titled The Hunt, The Cast of Hounds by Don Swann, Jr. (American, 1911-1998). Swann’s work can be found in the Vatican archives, the Cairo Museum Shop, and in various galleries throughout the United States. He was a second generation engraver who followed in the footsteps of his father. This work depicts an English hunt scene with mounted riders following hounds through a lush field. It is signed in pencil by the artist to the lower right and hand numbered 23/200 to the lower left. The etching is presented with white matting and is housed in a simple black frame.
