A framed offset lithograph poster on Speckletone paper by well-listed contemporary American artist Shepard Fairey (b. 1970) titled Dark Wave. The work depicts a growing ocean wave in black preparing to crash against a shoreline. The concept for this piece followed the large BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The print is hand signed by the artist to the lower right and dated to 2017. It is presented in a black composite frame with hanging wire to the reverse.
