A vintage restrike engraving after an original copperplate engraving by Claude Randon titled La galere Patronne, a la rame. The print depicts a classical battleship in a coastal harbor. It is based on an original late seventeenth century work by French Captain Henry Sbonski de Passebon and is one from a initial series of seventeen. The piece is presented with silk matting and housed is a carved gold painted frame.
